So i always get leaflets and emails about getting a bounty photo shoot done, where they take pictures of your baby at the hospital. Are they worth the money? And what do you think about them?:flow:

Heres the site if your interested..
https://www.bountyweb.co.uk/portrait

My BFF just had hers delivered, she got the big bundle and it was on offer when she had her LO 3 weeks ago. She paid £45 including postage (as opposed to £50 inc postage)

Aside from not liking the colour border she chose I think they were really nice and the keepsake folder is beautiful - has space for hand and footprins and hospital tags etc.

I'll definately be getting them as between me and OH we have a big family and everyone will want one. I wouldn't personally bother with the canvases though as you can get them made up in cheaper places

i have had the photo took now just got to wait for them to arrivei have the portrait gift collection for £44.99 and i got a personalised portrait which should be £9.99 but i got it half price. so all together £53.97 including P&P which i thought was good

we dont have bounty at ours i think it is one called tempest and they look pretty crap to be honest my mate had her bounty ones done and her pics that she took of my adopted nieice are better ,but think i will get the small one and see how it is then see from there

I had them with my son 18 years ago and my daughter 2 years ago. regardless if they are worth it or not i had to do it as you cant replace the first photo in the glass cot, plus now they let you strip babies off and put them on their tummies etc. not just the normal photo in clothes.

They put your photos online on their website, so you can make changes to your order, i got my daughter a little personalised teddy for her first birthday off there too.

This time i wont be having it done as i plan on having baby at local hospital. but then i do vaguely remember reading somewhere that you can make appointments..... will have to look again.

I'm sure I read on the website you can have them visit you at home to take the pictures

thankyou, ive just emailed them to see if they come to my area.

yeah as i say my hospital doesnt do the bounty :( tempest ones look a bit poo

tempest do my the school photography at my daughters school, depending on who the photographer is some of the photos are shit, they just stick them on the white drop back and click. i have had good and poor off them.

yeah they look shit i have seen some of the ones they did at one of my hubbys mates kids
to be honest the quality is crap and i have a mate as a proffesional photographer and one who would love to be one so dont have to worry about pics lol

ooooohhhhhh :( my hospital isnt on the list of hospitals wherre you can get them done. what a shame! :( :cry2:

I can remember having this done with my first - 8 years ago! I loved the idea of having it done for him, but then mobile phone cameras, well i don't know if they had decent cameras then....i don't think so. Plus, digital camera's are really good now, so I don't think i will bother this time around.

I'd prefer to take the photo myself - I like photography anyway so i'll give me something to do. xx

They are crap piccies and i won't be wasting money on them as can take nicer ones with my i-phone1

I'm waiting and having a professional shoot when the baby's skin has smoothed out-newborns although i always thought were gorgeaus when i look back at photeos are quite wrinkly and prune like lol

I surely WONT be getting the bounty/tempest photo done especially not when baby has half a hair full of your insides still on them...not to mention being stuck on their sweaty poster...then your signed up for months of crap posted through your door when they have your details....

I think the whole thing is wrong to have BUSINESS SALES as thats what it is perstering women when they have just had babies....They also keep them on a system which doesnt sound right to me... And the fact the NHS lets these random slaes women into the hospital to sell new mothers crappy photos when they are at their most vaunrable i think is disgusting they pay the Nhs £1 for every person they are allowed access to... and then a further £3 for every sale they make....

I will be telling her in no terms is she taking any photos of my baby and to piss off and leave us alone... One woman in the ward when in with my daughter was harrassed until she gave in which I think is awful! Then you feel obliged to buy photos of your new baby!!!

No thank you thats what digital cameras are for if I want to pay £50 for terrible picts Ill do it myself!

ugh no I refused to buythe one of DD it was the most unflattering picture ever and they tried to convince me how lovelyshe looked to get my money!

I think they look lovely. I would deffo like to have one done. Do they take more than one pic and you choose your fave or do they just take the one? xx

I had them done with my oldest 16 years ago and was so pleased with it, had it with second and it was rubbish, didn't even look like him so sent them back. Will have it done again so we'll see how they turn ot this time x
