Is lucozade ok 2 drink while pregnant!!?

Im not sure but i wouldnt think so as its a energy drink

Probably not the healthiest thing but I don't think it has caffiene which is always good, just v. sugary so limit it x

i drink isotonic drinks to keep my energy up, i know there ok as they advise them for labour

I have it the odd time. But then i never have any other kind of caffiene, dont drink coffee/tea or coke x

i only have it now and again just to get my energy up, just wounded if it was safe to drink lol

IMO, pretty much all soft drinks are fine in moderation! I've never stopped drinking anything apart from alcohol!

it's fine - or so I was told by my gp. I wouldn't still be alive if it wasn't for lucozade, it was all I could stomach in first tri when I had hypermesis. told my doc and she said it was fine just to make sure I was brushing my teeth lots!

Iv been told its fine, I cant stomach coffee and was drinking 5/6 cups a day at work and cant last without lucozade. I do make one last me all day though and dont drink it every day.

lucozade is fine, it has got lots of sugar in it as it has 'glucose' in it instead of caffine so i wouldnt drink it constantly however at 28 weeks you're told to drink lucozade so that the hospital can test your blood glucose so if it was harmful in any way i doubt they'd ask you to do that. - i still drink it :D

I drank sooo much of it in my last pregnancy, was the only thing getting me thru the tired days! Was drinking it thru labour too lol. Its fine, its not got caffine in it :) prob not the healthiest thing but what is, everything in moderation and all that :)!!! Dont worry about it hon, enjoy xx

Yep u can, I drink it as I'm a diabetic and I need it to boost my sugar levels, along as your not drinking loads it's totally fine,I know this as nurses have told me at my diabetic clinic!

Yes, I drank loads of it and gatorade/powerade when I was 4-7 weeks pregnant and sick with OHSS, it's recommended to get your hydration and energy up. I don't drink much now, only one fizzy drink a day and not the ones with caffeine in. Lucozade doesn't have caffeine though so it's fine.

ive had a couple of bottles on days where ive been KNACKERED. Theyre not great, just full of sugar but way better than red bull.

Its fine, i was advised by hospital to drink lucozade for bad morning sickness... It was the only thing i could keep down :) x x x

I had a mega craving for lucozade for a couple of weeks in 1st tri, and as i wasn't able to eat much i gave in and drank it. Usually i hate fizzy drinks! Even since then i've had a craving for fizzy!

What i did was pour about an inch of lucozade into a tall tumbler glass, and top up with fizzy water! Same taste, craving satisfied, less sugar! Now that the lucozade craving has gone but i still want fizz, I get a good squeezed orange juice and top that up with fizzy water! Works a treat!!

Im type 1 diabetic and was told I could drink it for low blood sugar episodes...

a girl at work has been advised not to drink too much of it (she was drinking loads of it) - but I think thats probably more to do with the high sugar content than anything else xx
