I’ve got some excellent news.

My wife took two tests to day, a first response this morning & was a & a clear blue digital when she got back from work & had a Massive

At this moment we are Very Very happy. I can't take the smile of my face.
So many things are going around in my head. First i guess is when tell the parents? Do we wait three months? Like most people? Not sure i can last a week let alone 3 months.

The thing that has shocked us the most was how quick my wife got pregnant. We had it in our minds that it could take months or even years to have a baby.

Looking at the digital test has really brought it home now that I’m going to be a Daddy!!!

That's brilliant news! You have every right to be super-chuffed!

It's up to you who and when to tell of course. Lots of people tell close family straight away and do a more public announcement later on. As you know, it's hard to contain the excitement! I told my parents as soon as I was 100% sure myself, then gradually told other relatives and friends, mostly at around 12 weeks (really because you're out of the big danger zone then).

As far as telling family and friends its up to you! I told people right away with my last pregnancies, but not with this baby because I was afraid of having another miscarriage like I had about a year ago due to no baby developed in the sac known as a blighted ovum. I did however start telling people the day I had my first u/s at 6w 5d when I saw the baby and heart beat! GL
