You can find bad reviews for every brand, but does anyone have experience of using Hauck?

I like this

This is what I'm getting. My friend bought hers when her son was born 3 months ago. I've had a good play with it and it's lovely :-) very versatile if you get the whole set.

Ooh I love it!

I was wondering the same about hauck, there are some REALLY cheap travel systems on kiddisave, like £90 for everything, and it just worries me that ive never heard of the brand x

Ohh takara are you getting that colour too? I love it and its unisex. Dont know when the deal ends though?

no i dont think its good quality, hauck are hard to manouvre and flimsy.

thats expensive for what it is as well.

have a look on kidicare they are well cheap, u may even be av
ble to get that hauck one cheaper.

this ones better https://www.kiddicare.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/productdisplay0_10751_-1_136628_10001

Ahh right. Have you seen any other lime ones anywhere?

I fell in love with the Hauck Malibu travel set, however, after a lot of looking around and chatting to people I found that a lot of the Hauck's have issues with the frames within 6 months. There was an awful review from a lady who's frame broke whilst her child was in it, he nearly fell backwards onto the pavement after she'd tried to wheel the buggy off a bus and onto a slightly lower curb.

Can't speak for the pram/travel system but I do recommend their travel cots. We have one and so do my parents and it's faultless as far as we can tell, easy to set up and fold down, good quality and very reasonably priced

Had a good play with the one we ended up ordering - lots of putting it up and down by inexpert hands - disregarded one of their systems because the up and down system felt a bit flimsy and easy to break (and the brake lever was so far under the seat you'd be booting baby in the backside every time you tried to but the brakes on) - but the one we went for was a Hauck and seemed pretty solid in terms of the wobble-factor (some were really rickety in the shop from a range of brands), in terms of not needing a MSc to get the damned thing up and down and the like. Yes there's the review about the frame breaking - but there are bad reviews about everything out there, people tend to post more if they've got axes to grind on stuff - and I'll just keep a careful eye on it as a point to be aware of.

I had a hauck high chair and loved it it was very well made and my Lo was cozy in it just wish i didn't sell it now.

We bought the Hauck Malibu system (in Canada it doesn't come with the car seat)-- it was $180 and came with the bassinet, bassinet stand, car seat adaptor (which works like a snap and go) and the actual stroller seat.

It seems well made, compared to others that we played with in the store and we love the ease with which you can change the components and fold it up for travel.

That being said, baby isn't here yet so we haven't used it with an actual kiddo in it, but we'll see come June!

I was going to go for the Malibu I liked the look of it and under £300 for full travel system seemed brilliant however same as a few other ladies have posted I read issues about the frames becoming unstable and some even collapsing within the year so decided against it. I had a look around and seen some good travel systems from better known brands for similar prices so I'm gonna go with the graco symbio.

Well I bought the hauck shopper 11 in mint green, I love it! Not used it for baby yet but have demonstrated it to people several times! In my opinion it feels much sturdier than the other brands I tried in store, and the price is great too. Plus it is small enough folded down to fit in our panda boot! x

I'm getting the red. By the lOoks of the deal on kiddycare the package deal seems to stick around the same price but you can get the buggy alone much cheaper.

Just note you need to get a carrycot/carseat rain cover (eBay about £9) as the one that comes with it is for the pushchair alone.

Xx

in my experiance hauck tend to 'feel cheep' after a few mounths, they dont last like other prams and have little faults you wouldnt expect. ie my friend had one and the rain cover didnt fit properly with out the car seat...
but i dont know this hauck so my advice would be have a good play with one, really bend it about and see when it folds if the way you carry it mite bend the frame after time, if you are satisfyed then go for it xx
