Is there a nub even when the baby's legs are straight up in air.

Hi girls I'm confused, I went to a scan the when 13 weeks and 3 days I saw a clear image of baby after having some bleeding all was well. But when I tried to guess the gender I only saw a white line but it looked like an X-ray type of line when the legs were straight up in the air. I wanted to know if the babies legs were up and I saw a white line in the lower area, how can it be genitals of boy or girl when the legs are covering that area. Does the nub still show as an X-rayed area from behind the leg.i was looking at the baby on a side view, not a potty shot or up front.thanks ladies

Yes, if you are able to post a pic I'll draw lines for you so you understand if I can find the nub. When the legs are straight up, they are so tiny that they don't cover much of the nub at all

ETA: You can't use the nub theory except from the side :O)
