Morgan?

My OH and i have finally agreed on a name! - about time eh?

He would like the baby to be called Morgan-Lee where as i like just Morgan.
what do you guys think? Morgan-Lee or is there any other name we could double barrel with it? Also my Daughter is Amy-Leigh do you think it goes or is there too much leigh/lee's! My son is Corey.

We have told no one of our choice as all the other names we have suggested, someone always doesnt like it! and ends up putting us off so its a secret!

Also do you think its a boys or girls name? i do know of a few girls called morgan but also a couple boys thats why we wanted to individualise it by double-barrelling. I asked my daughter if she liked Morgan and she said 'mum you cant call the baby that - its a girls name!! what about Milo!' so this is also making me think lol

God why is picking a name hard!! All the family are always asking if we have a name yet, i always say no as OH is off-shore working til the 28th july so if baby comes before then he is going to be nameless as i want OH to do the big announcement just so he can be part of it even though he may miss the birth! The family dont like this either!

I think Morgan is pretty much unisex now, like jamie or jordan.

Well it's definitely unisex -- i see Morgan alot here on BnB as a boy's name -- i've only known female Morgans though...

I wouldn't use the same middle name/double barrel name for two kids -- Amy-Leigh & Morgan-Lee :nope:

Amy-Leigh, Corey, & Morgan sounds pretty good together -- personally i would probably stick to the theme of ending in "y" like: Riley, Finley, Casey, Charlie, for example... (and some of them even have "lee" in them already!)

I agree its very unisex now, I know boys and girls called Morgan . xx

I think Morgan is fairly unisex. I'm not convinced about the Lee though to be honest - sorry!

I know a little girl called Morgan, so to me i'd associate that name as a girls name. :)

i'd say its unisex but for me i prefer it for a boy

I always thought it was boys and Megan was the girls version, and i know a few boys with the name Morgan, but i recently met a girl called Morgan and i have a female friend on facebook with the name Morgan so i supose its unisex xx

I know Morgans of both sexes but I would say it's more of a boys name! Personally I prefer just Morgan and I definitely wouldn't use Lee if you daughters name is Amy-Leigh! xx

Thanks for the help everyone!
As i said in my post i like just Morgan too, the only reason i wanted a double barrel is because i know OH would want to put a name that i really dont like that has been in his family for years and years as his middle name but if he had a double-barrel then it wouldnt be used! It is a surname, but his grand-father and great grand-father had this as middle names, he didnt get it passed on as he himself has a double-barrelled name but his sister got it! it is Tait!

So after a long chat on the phone last night i managed to get him away from the lee as we already have my amy-leigh, but now he has agreed to just morgan but with tait as a middle name! grrrrr never mind i suppose i dont have to put it down in forms and stuff, as i dont put my other sons middle name down in forms and things anymore just the legal documents!
