Izzy is lactose and dairy intolerant.
She has been on several formulas, sma wysoy, sma lf, nutramigen and now neocate for about a month.
All was well until a few days ago she got ill and we had to take her to hospital. She is now refusing to drink the neocate, will only take around 10ozs a day. Obviously this isn't enough so because i was worried and we had a leftover wysoy in the cupboard i have been giving her this tonight. She took it so much better and is less sick on it (reflux, it is thicker)
Is it ok for me to give her it??

I think I remember reading somewhere to discard any opened unused formula (powder) after a month.

was it a closed tub hun? if not how long has it been sat there... you should throw out anything thats not been used within 31 days. If its a fresh tub, if shes taking it better and not being sick then i dont see the problem.. although it would be best to let doctor know ( i presume a doctor is involved as the neocate will be prescription??) xxx
