I'm due for af on 12/23, not real sure when I will test but I don't think I will be able to wait that long....I believe I ovulated yesterday, I had a positive opk on Tuesday night and even darker on Wednesday morning....then at about 6 PM on Wednesday I started having ovulation cramps so I'm guessing it was yesterday....hopefully

welcome everyone! please do check back and update everyone if you end up testing. I am going to start my ovulation tests tomorrow and also tomorrow (friday), sunday and tuesday. I think I will ovulate on monday. Im so tempted to do it monday too, but the specialist suggested the every other night thing. what do most of you do? or perhaps we should do it tonight, saturday and monday, hmmm what do you think. I think I prefer friday, sunday, tuesday as I like the idea of getting it in there the day before.

I would do it every other day sarah but to tweak the days maybe so you are DTD on ovulation day? Good luck!
Im suuuper bummed/confused. I just took an internet OPK stick and its showing no test line at all. Its a diff brand than I used before but the other ones i'd get 2 lines the entire month. Paler at times but still 2. Do some not show 2 unless you have a total surge or am I just not going to ovulate.....i should be within the next couple days so wouldnt it begin being pink by now? HelP! \

with my smiley face tests when I break them apart there is usually 2 lines, just one much fainter. however I have only ever tested around my ovulation, so not sure if there is nothing there other times. But perhaps these new sticks you have only show when you have a surge, let us know if you get one! Im starting mine tomorrow morning

Hello ladies!! Just seeing how everyone is doing..havent been on here for a bit. I really have nothing to update except I am finally entering my fertile period..so it's getting closer! The wait is the hardest part. Anyway..I hope you are all doing good! Oh and Sarah..I wish I could help you out on which days you should BD but Im not even really sure myself. I have tried the every other day thing the past couple months but it obviously hasnt worked so I am trying everyday this month. I would just do what your fertility specialist says and what you feel comfortable with.

I'm feeling really down today.
I should be 6dpo and have had these low grade cramps since my O day, which was early this month and hence why I'm a little unsure if I am even where I think I am in my cycle.
Since coming off the pill my O days have been very painful and therefore easy to determine, and they were this month, but then the last 6dpo have been too.
Anyway, I am not due on until Dec 24, but I just don't feel anything much at all now.
No sore bbs, no darkened areolas...just normal...a bit gassy and some low grade cramping...but nothing more.
I am really in the NTNP category, but I would love to surprise my partner with a BFP on Christmas Day.
I feel really apprehensive now though, like I've gotten my hopes up for nothing.
AND this is my first month where it could even be a possibility - if it doesn't happen, how do I stop thinking about it for another month while trying again?
I feel a bit depressed about it all.

yes we went up to cairns area for a week, loved it up there! where are you? want to visit the south area next time.

do you use the ovulation sticks at all? Ive been using them 4 months now and am pretty regular in that I get my lh surge on CD17, probably ovulate CD18 and then my period has been 32 days for most months (last month was 29 for some reason)

I know its easy to get down. I really try to keep myself positive and think to myself IT WILL HAPPEN WHEN ITS SUPPOSED TO. I cannot rush things, and its going to happen one of these months. Its very annoying as I wonder why suddenly one month does it happen? my specialist said it often takes time and our bodies are just not very efficient when it comes to baby making. so keep positive, think to yourself it WILL happen. Having a calm mind and body is a good way to start a life.

I cant decide! I may do it Friday, Sunday, Tuesday but if I ovulate Monday then Tuesday is not very helpful. So I think I may change to Friday, Sunday, Monday depending on what my OV sticks do and when I get my smiley face. I would love to know if most people that get pregnant do it every day or every other. I know kylarsmom who just got her BFP did it everyday Im pretty sure.

Normally we try the every2nd day thing but this month we have tried everyday, we managed cd 9,10,11 &12 had yesterday off (too tired) but will give it a go again tonight, I think I should have Ov'd yesterday but since I dont test we will do a few extra days just in case. I really hope it works!

I always get confused with when the best days are to try too....so this month I tried something new....we bd's on the 3rd, 5th, 7th, 8th, 9th and will again on the 11th - just in case....although, I'm pretty certain I o'd on the 8th as I had an almost positive (it could very well have been positive too) ovulation test at about 6 PM on the 7th, then a VERY positive ovulation test at 6 AM on the 8th, then about 6 PM that evening I started having cramps on my right side and later that evening my ovulation test wasn't positive anymore....so I think my timing was perfect this cycle, I just have to hope one of his little swimmers hit the target

When will all of you test - I mean, how many dpo do you usually wait before you start testing....I am certain i'm 2 dpo now, I was thinking of waiting until I was 10 dpo but isn't that still kind of early?

im one of those people who doesnt test until around my period, and I usually just wait for my period now. I couldnt handle doing it earlier as I think it drives people crazy, and I dont want to know about any chemicals. but I love to live through other people testing early so go for it!! good luck

I have looonngg cycles for some reason usually from 43-45 days. If my calculations are right I should be due for af on boxing day. I'm more in the NTNP area, all I really chart is af and CM. Now I think according to my ticker thing I'm 2 days to ovulation but I had EWCM on the 8th in the am and dtd that night. So would it make sense to dtd tonight, and tomorrow for my suspected O? Does EWCM indicate O in the next couple of days or that day?
