Is your toddler frightened of a tv character?

One of my toddlers is terrified of the very important lady on Twirlywoos. Just wondered if anyone else's toddler goes nuts when a certain tv character comes on the box?

The Very Important Lady is a bit scary... if not a wee bit unstable...

Mine does. She runs and hides behind me. Funny she loves the gruffalo and things tht i think would scare her dont.

I agree the very important lady is quite scary!

I did wonder this today when DS1 was watching Monsters Inc, I was worried it might scare him but he was fine. He also loves the gruffalo and room on the broom which I think could be quite scary for a child.

I cant think of any tv characters he's afraid of which is funny because he's quite sensitive when we're out and doesn't like loud noises etc but tv seems to be different!

Not a kids tv character but my lo hated the boy in the Cravendale advert. He just started crying "no, no, no, his head fell off" and burst into tears. He's a boy with a biscuit for a head and went for a swim in a milk lake. His head crumbled and fell off. Lo still talks about it and says he doesn't like him. Poor wee bub!!

My daughter doesn't like Granddad Tumble on Something Special! Always comes over to me and climbs onto my lap when he comes on and says 'no Granddad Tumble, want Mr Tumble'. Have no idea why that particular one scares her.

Lily doesn't like anyone on Lazytown, especially Robbie Rotten. She makes me change the channel. X

Mine was about 16mos when I was watching a Disney Villains concert on youtube and when he saw the villain from Hercules (the one with the blue flame hair and big ugly smile) he got upset and grabbed me. That was the only time so far, but we don't watch many things with "bad guys."

Captain sinker from swashbuckler. He wouldn't even look at a picture in a magazine! He's got over that now but I don't think he's ever watched the programme!
