Had my 20-week anatomy scan today. Everything is great with baby. And it's a girl!!!
which is what I desperately wanted! Of course above all else, I wanted a healthy baby, but I REALLY wanted a girl. My husband has a son from a previous marriage and I know he really longed for a little girl. I would see how he would look at little baby girls when we were out and he told me that before I got pregnant he had a dream that he was holding his daughter's hand. Plus my MIL would have probably went into a depression had it been a boy. LOL. She had 3 sons, has 1 grandson, and desperately wanted the girl she never had.

DH was sick today so he didn't go and still doesn't know! He's sleeping now and won't wake up for two hours or so. I would love to wait until Father's day to tell him, but I don't think I could wait that long! Tonight he works so I won't see him today at all. Don't know if I can even wait until tomorrow!
