Itti Bitti Pongi!

I have a problem with ittis that pong. I bought them preloved from cnt and they smelt of fabric conditioner when they arrived. When i put them on A the minkee on the outside smells of wee within 10 minutes. Any tips?

I was going to do a strip wash but mum won't let me put anything but washing tablets in the machine!

sounds like it might have a detergent build up. A strip wash would be best, hot wash on a full dose of detergent & then keep putting extra rinses on till there are no bubbles in the water, but it can take all day to do
