I have been ttc for 3 years. HSG and all bloods normal. Baseline scan prior to treatment on day 14 showed several maturing follicles, but they were still relatively small. I was also told I had 2 small endomertial cycts on one ovary which would not require treatment, as they are under 3cm. I have fairly regular cylcles, about 29-31 days.

I have first scan for natual IUI on day 11 of cycle. I had lots of tiny follicles, but none were maturing. I had a blood test for oestrogen levels, which came back low. I have been told to go back for a scan tomorrow (friday). I will be on day 15 of my cycle.

When I have done the ovulation predictor sticks in previous cycles I get the surge on about day 15, which would mean I ovulated maybe day 16/17. My concern is that I am going to ovulate over the weekend, and they won't do the IUI until monday, which is going to be far too late.

I am under the JR, which is now on the business park place. Would they do IUI at the weekend or will I be made to wait til monday? This is obviously assuming I do have some dominant follicles when I go on friday. I have also been warned that I might not have IUI this month if none mature.

Thanks

I am sorry I dont know much about this but I just wanted to wish you Good Luck and I hope u do get to have IUI this cycle.
:hugs:

My hospital do IUI at the weekend so they may do it, good luck

How big was the 'biggest' follicle at your last scan?? Follies grow upto 2mm per day. When I had IUI the looked for follies between 18mm and 25mm. But I have heard other places can be different.
Are you having IUI on a natural cycle or with Clomid? If the follies don't mature this time you could ask for Clomid next time?

GOOD LUCK X

i agree with noddysgirl, when you get your surge they time iui for 36 hours later so if you get it sat monday will be fine
