Well I am currently 15dpiui and no sign of AF. I even checked my CP with TP and there was only a tiny bit of brown (sorry if TMI) usually the day before AF there is red in there. I looked back at my temping calendars and it seems that I have had a couple cycles of 15 and one cycle of 16 day LP so I am not getting my hopes up yet. I am also wondering if clomid is causing this. I took clomid 50 mg two years ago and my LPs were 13&14. There are so many variables. I haven't taken a test since 11dpiui and it was neg which I know is a bit early. I am all out of test so I haven't tested again. I am gonna test on Sunday at 17dpiui if AF doesn't show. I will call my Dr today and see what she says.

I have a little over a week left of my 2ww. I'm not allowing myself to get excited or even think I'm pregnant.
Not testing To see about the trigger, I'm going to try my best to wait until Labor Day when I have my blood test.

Rebecca when are you testing? I have my blood test on Tuesday 9/8 but can't wait till then think I'll do a at home stick fri 9/4

No symptoms for me either.
I'm going in to test on Labor Day! I will use an frer on Sunday..

I'm 8dpiui. I took a dollar store test ....bfn ....I know it's still too early but I'm so pessimistic about this all.

I'm not even thinking about testing till Sunday.
Very low hopes for this cycle anyways.

Sorry I have been MIA ladies. My IUI did not take the first round so I've been a bit bummed. I started spotting on day 26 which was when AF was suppose to start since the Cloimd pushed my cycle up by a few days. But the spotting lasted for days and was so light I started to get my hopes up that it was something else. I finally got a full AF on day 31 when I usually do, so I guess my body just didn't want to go off schedule. I also had my hopes up because everyone was telling me what a great sample my DH had, I guess it was just not meant to be this month. I have my next Follicle check on the 11th. I am going on my natural cycle again so no Clomid. I would have used Clomid again but my O would have been during labor day and the doctor will be closed. Hopefully this way we can get the timing right. Although I did well on the Clomid last month it is nice to know I am not starting the school year all hyped up on hormones LOL!

:wave: Hi! Sorry dreamingmom the IUI didn't take I am having my first IUI (Clomid + trigger) in October with a small dosage of 25mg of Clomid even though I ovulate fine. My doctor said he has high chances for me since I'm young, have good eggs, tubes are open and DH's semen's count is over 50mill & good motility. I'm still skeptical of it happening on the first try and really don't want to do at least 3 rounds since these procedures are all out of pocket.

I asked the nurse what the success rate for first time IUI's and she said 40%. Having a hard time trying to be hopeful - but hubby is extremely positive.

I'm now 12dpiui tested got BFN again so it's 97% I'm not preggo. It's a huge let down because with all the testing done... What could've went wrong?

Can I ask how do you know you have good eggs? Is there a test for that? It's my worst fear that my eggs are no good. I know they test for egg count....

As for IUi success rate I hear as low as 12% to 27%. I really wish it was 40%!!

Hey TTC, I also got a BFN. I'm not too upset since I really didn't think those was going to work for us. DH's numbers were just too low.
We're going to likely move onto IVF, I can't imagine doing another cycle of IUI. Very low chance of success for us.

Oh no, I'm so sorry TTC. That's my fear, not being successful with the IUI after throwing away thousands of dollars. It's a very big chance we're all taking. My doctor said my eggs were good based off my previous blood work, I think from the FSH of my day 3 bloods. Maybe he is just saying that since I'm almost 30 and still "young".

As for the percentages, IUI is equal to a healthy couple without any problems which is 25%. At Shady Grove, my fertility clinic, the nurse said their success rate for first time IUIs is 40% but did say it's the same chance of conceiving naturally every month.

Txt band Rebecca,sorry to hear yours did not take either. I do know woman in a similar boat as m,that were much older than me when they had their iuis that were successful on their second or third try. So I'm going to go e you a few more shots. Of course this in covered by my insurance but ivf is not,so that's a big part in my decision.

It's a tough decision to be in if you know that insurance won't be covering. My insurance will cover 2 more IUI's and then 1 IVF cycle. After that I'm maxed out.
I have an apt with my doctor on Wednesday to discuss our next step. I don't feel like going through the stress of another Iui which comes with so little chance of success for us.

Bloodwork came back bfn... Af hasn't started because of the progesterone I've been taking.... Wish I could go on to ivf. But have to wait to see if insurance will cover it yet. Going to do next cycle with injectables

I'm sorry for your disappointment too!
I stopped the progesterone Sunday and AF arrived this afternoon. When did you stop the progesterone?
I wonder what the RE will tell us tomorrow when we meet with him. I can't imagine he's going to have us do injectables. As far as I know my eggs are ok and it's only and issue with DH.
