Hey ladies!

So sorry I have been MIA for so long. I was pretty depressed after AF arrived and decided to take a while off of the TTC sites. Since my first IUI cycle didn't take we moved on to the second cycle with exactly the same protocol, Clomid CD3-7 100 mg, I had a follie can on CD 11 as my Dr was booked for my CD 12 and this is what happened:

I had my follie scan at 930am Tuesday morning. I had the option of scheduling for it CD11 or CD13 as they were all booked out for CD12. I decided to go with CD11 because its better to be a little early but still make a plan then miss it. I went in and she said I responded very well. I had like 4 follies on R which I would have bet the mature follies were on left because I have been having twinges over there. Seems that I ovulate on my right side dominantly. She looked at my left side but didn't tell me what was happening over there. I don't think she looked that well to be honest because I can "feel" which way she is pointing lol. She acted like I was set to pop at any moment. Anyway she wanted me to go get the trigger immediately, which last time on CD12 I didn't trigger until 6hrs after my scan. So I triggered around 1030 and was scheduled for the IUI Wed after 330. I am thankful that it progressed quickly. I am surprised the TWW is already here lol, it went fast. I am just hoping my lining is thick enough, she couldn't get a good view because of my bladder. My uterus feels quite sore today. I coughed earlier and was like, oh man. Last cycle at 1dpo I was having pretty severe backache, bloating, cramps and sore nips but it is much less this time. Hopefully my body is just handling the second round better. I am only slightly bloated and sore.

I will be on here much more now that I am in the TWW I'm sure.

Nice to hear from you again. I was wondering what your results were!
We also got a BFN and my re recommended IVF which we are beginning this month.

OK so I am going for my follicle scan tomorrow at 10:30. I'm not sure what they will see since this month I did not take any Clomid because Labor Day and the first day of school would have caused me to miss getting to the doctor during my O. Also last month AF started with mild spotting before it came full and my doctor wasn't even sure when to start counting my CD days.( I have an appointment with a new doctor's office but they can't get me in till December!) So I am either going to be on day 14 or 18. Since I usually O naturally on day 16 or 17 , tomorrow may be too early or too late. I will let you guys know what happens.

Rebrandy, Sorry yours did not take either I was hoping one of us would have success since we started this feed together. Good luck for this cycle. I have heard that there is more of a success rate on the second time around.

It's funny out of 4 women 0 iui's took. I guess success rates are really less than 25%.

I'm only spotting right now since I stopped the progesterone on Tuesday. Just got my delivery of ovidrel and gonal f 75 ...I responded to clomid but feel it won't hurt getting more follies with gonal f and maybe mature quicker!

Rebecca happy that you're getting to move onto IVF I hope they will approve me next cycle. Is your insurance paying?

Good luck tomorrow, dreaming! Really hope that it's not too late. That would be so disappointing!
TTC- my doc told us that our chances with IUI are less than 10%.
Yes, my insurance does cover IVF, however they max at 15,000. I already did IUI so I'm not sure how much I have left, but the doctor said we have enough to do a round of IVF. Hopefully we'll get a nice amount so that we can freeze some.

Update from my appointment last Friday. I had already O'd so no IUI this month. I'm actually happy with the results since when I went in for my follicle check the ultrasound tech asked me if I was just planning on timed intercourse, when I said no we are working towards another IUI. She gave me a weird look and explained that even if I was ready I couldn't get an IUI since the office was not open on Saturday. You would think they would have mentioned that when I was setting the appointment! I really hate this doctor's office but I will stick with them another month or two and hopefully be able to get another IUI there in November then I am jumping ship and moving to another doctor's office whether the IUI takes or not. On a positive note, DH and I DTD plenty of times around my O so there is that slight chance that another IUI won't be necessary.

Nothing much to report. I'm on birth control now for 2 weeks and then 9/27 I begin my injections. I have a scan 9/25. Retrieval will be October 9.

I'm having my first IUI in October and attending a mandatory injection class today with the hubs to learn and ask questions about the hcg trigger shot & any questions we may have about IUI.

Welcome DandJ!

No pregnancy last month with just clomid. Back on the IUI track. I have an appointment in a few hours to have my follicle check if all goes well I should be going in for my second IUI tomorrow. I am a little nervous that it will not be able to happen this month because I think Clomid may have given me a mild yeast infection. The symptoms have been so mild that I am not sure so I have been trying to deal with it naturally( not wearing underwear, eating yogurt etc...) I just read that the PH being off may cause an inhospitable environment for sperm but I am not sure if it will effect the IUI because the sperm gets pushed up there further. I have 1 day creme to take but I am unsure if it will effect the IUI if I use it after my follicle check. I will see if I can talk to a nurse or doctor while I am there today but i am so afraid they will say I have to skip this months IUI! Uggh why can't anything just be easy!?!
