Ive been recommended not to use Johnson baby shampoo!

I've heard bad things about Johnsons products too... We're using the burts bees baby bee products x

i love burts Bees but even that irritates lo's skin :-( he has olilatum in each bath now, cleared his eczema right up. just going to continue with that, seems to work and the doctor is giving it for free!
don't often need to wash his hair but just been using detinox to clear his cradle cap was using coconut oil but it was hard to wash out.
j&j was used twice, he dried up like a prune!

I used to use johnsons shampoo and bubble bath but i concluded it was making Isabelles hair dry even without reading this thread. I now use halos and horns ans I can see the difference already, it is softer and looks thicker.

It's shocking how in my local Asda all the johnsons stuff is at eye level and you really have to search for the other brands.

we've used j and j shampoo and bodywash from day 1 :flower:

I use the cussons mum and baby range, all seems fine. I do use j&j body bedtime cream, its lovely.

I ised johnsons when Thomas was first born. We never had a problem but I use Lush or tantrum products now.

If your the states I envy you...you have this AMAZING line called California baby that I have used on my LO since she was 6 months old ( I just used olive oil before that).....Seriously.....they have a product for everything..smells amazing and I have to say...my daughter has THE BEST HAIR EVER!!hahahaha...people even compliment me on how awesome her hair is..so one day I decided to try it for myself...yeah....bad idea...it's a bit to pricy to use on my massive amounts of hair so I cannot afford this for me....but my hair looked spectacular!hahaha...I use it on special occasions if I'm going to a wedding...hahaha....anyways...California baby...awesome stuff...we drive to the states just to load up on it..

Another one we have here in Canada is a line called "Earth Momma Angel Baby" I use their shampoo when I run out....and as my traveller for when we go on vacation or swimming because it's foam and not as easy to leak.....it's a VERY close second...love those!!!!

Am I the only one who thinks California Baby smells like death?

I made a comment once before in a different thread on cradle cap how when I was a baby and my mum went to get her hair cut, the hairdresser told her my cradle cap was most likely caused by the johnsons baby shampoo. This was 22 years ago! She switched to a different brand and sure enough it cleared up.

Anyway, Mia had bad cradle cap and it wasn't until I mentioned it to my mum that she told me this, so I tested it out and sure enough my baby's hair and scalp have never looked better. Now through reading this thread I can see its not pure coincidence. Its a shame, cause johnsons products smell so yummy.
