ive broke my thumb

yesterday my darling 11 yr old decided to slam his bedroom door as i left his room but my hand was still on his door...now my thumb is broke right across the base in my hand...is sooo bloody painful. i managed to persuade the consultant not to plaster it as i need both hands to feed and change archie as hes only 6 weeks so i have a silly thing called a spirus mould or something on it which basically is a big plaited bandage that covers just my thumb palm and wrist

nappy changes are now fun and games and take about 15mins for each one

im so pissed off with it already and cant imagine another 6 weeks of this
