I've forgot about OPK's ooopps

We're not trying to concieve and I had my tubes tied 3 years ago during my c section.

This cycle has gone totally whack! Started before xmas, I was spotting alot of brown blood, I felt genuinely pregnant! And thought I'm officially crazy! Haha. The husband pointed out that maybes I was. So i tested and got the most faintest line ever! But showed up on other tests, so felt shocked. Bleeding continued and the tests went stark white.

But my sore breasts, bloat and total bitchy mood swings havent gone anywhere... so I thought right ill test for ovulation see what's happening there and I got a very good positive (test line darker than control line) thought great... once that happens, I'll feel normal lol

But nope I still feel the same... so I've just done a OPK and I'm due AF in like 4 days roughly and I did a opk yesterday, today's looks stronger???

I've totally forgotten my time of TTC sooo, does the Opks get stronger close to AF? Or are they suppose to get fainter? I'm clueless help x
