I would, I'm pretty sure they have to cook it at a certain temperature which would burn off alcohol and leave flavor. Just like a lot of sherry or cooking wine recipes.

No reason to. Cooking eliminates alcohol molecules.

Look at it this way, if there were any real alcohol left in it they'd have to have an age restriction on it... I cook with cooking wines still and I just make sure it's all burned/heated off.

I dont like it but if I did I would! wacko Even if it did have a small amount of alcohol content that tiny amount is going to do zilch harm to your baby! xx

Cooking alcohol evaporates the actual alcohol and just leaves the flavour of the drink in the sauce. Also the amount of JD used to create one portion of sauce would be absolutely tiny. there is no reason to feel guilty at all.

Yes it is delicious!!! I love those little jack daniels strips, they cook out all the alcohol from the sauce, so it won't harm anything...just tasty

Yep, i just dont like the thought of doing anything that could harm my little girl. Im overly cautious, but its better than not being cautious at all... x
