Trying to clean here with a newborn who doesnt want to nap much and a mardy toddler who keeps having paddies

So Quinn started his screaming around 7pm last night but did go for a half hour nap around 9pm. At 10pm I decided to try the bath and I ended up staying in the tub for 45 minutes. He was so calm and was kicking about like crazy. I think he really likes it. But once we got out he started screaming again and kept going until 1AM. I was soooo tired! Maybe the bath idea was not such a good idea as he has been settleing around 10-11pm lately and after the bath he wsa up til 1AM.

Not sure if ill try the bath again tonight.

Avery has a good 2 month checkup last week. She's 11 pounds 8 ounces and 23 inches long. After her shots she slept the whole evening just waking up to scream. Fortunately it only lasted the rest of that day.

I'm back to work this week. Sooo exhausted with getting up at night and trying to do all my housework in the evenings.

Well ladies I think i might be suffering from depression. Today Quinn started screaming at 10am (its only 11am now) I just know ts going to be another whole day full of screaming. I put the kids in the car and went to get a coffee and he was quiet the whole drive so I sat with the car running in the parking lot for 20 minutes so i could eat my bagel. and have a cry. And as soon as we got in the house he started screaming again. With all the screaming and my mothers health issues its no wonder I feel like this. I take Quinn for his shots tomorrow and i will talk to dr abvout it then and see if there are some meds i can take while still BFing.

I just dont know how much longer I can take all this. I need a vacation from my life! And here come some more tears

I know there's nothing I can say to help. But hugs to you. Having a miserable baby is rough.

Hi ladies so im only just catching up with the posts from yesterday and today. The photos are great and I'm so sorry that I missed out on what appears to have been a great day.

Not sure who suggested it (think maybe Leanne) but I'm up for monthly meets. Im happy to drive/get the train depending on where the meet is. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions if when or where we should have the next meet?

Laura - I'm not suprised your feeling low, you've got alot going on at the moment and a newborn to deal with. I know it's easier said than done with 2 young children but try and make time for yourself each day. If you can try and get some fresh air each day. Wrap the kids up and go for a walk. Might sound like that is the last thing on your mind but it might help.

Hey ladies! Bit confused as to where I shld be posting, is everyone on fb now? Hope u r all doing ok! I arrived back from the UK on Saturday after a loooong 10 hour flight. Holly was so good on the way to England but on the way back she was more cranky and awake and I had no John for support We did ok between my mum and I but I was glad to arrive! Has put me off too many return trips though. Had an amazing time at home though and as always, was sad to leave. Now I need to buck myself up over here and join some meet up groups and get out of the apartment. Funny, I always find an excuse not to go though....!

Anyway to all, hope u've not missed me too much!

Oh and totally gutted I missed the meadowhall meet up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
