Jo your right the 3rd set are 3 injections. The 5 in 1 in 1 leg, men c and pcv I think it is are in the other leg (1 inner thigh, the other outer thigh). Not looking forward to that set as Phoebe was really poorly and grizzly after them ones. Fingers crossed Hayley will be ok after them. She was grizzly after the 1st but fine for the 2nd lot

Ive never known of jabs on inner thigh. We got all outer thigh before. N is onyl just big enough to start getting them in his arm now.

Think the nurse is mean at our drs either that or she got confused when she was talking about them on Tuesday. Don't remember phoebs having it on the inside as I remember them saying they have to go into big muscles.

Phoebe had the mmr and the booster in her thighs. They won't use the arm for under 3's round here

Morning! Hope you all have a good weekend :D

Hope to see some of you Tuesday x

he had 2 on one leg(outer thigh) and another on the other outer thigh, back to normal now thanks xx

Hi everyone not had any posts in here for a while so thought I'd say hello here for a change! Fearne had the worst growth spurt yet last week, lasted 3 days into a 4th but now is waking twice a night. She is going to bed a bit earlier and she won't dream feed. Is that because you can't do a breast dream feed? I used to dream feed Corey but that was with a bottle. Or perhaps it's just Fearne??

Since I wasn't invited to the royal wedding I'm meeting some oldfribgghh for a pub lunch and meeting their kids I've never met. Then I must get on with packing I've never been so unorganised! Can't wait for Feurteventura on Monday! Xx

Hi jo, I don't know about the dreamfeed as I've never tried it! Phoebes currently in week 4 (I think) of her growth spurt and god is she growing! After a few days of summer stuff she's back in warmer clothing but leggings are barely fitting now! I think she's had two spurts that have blurred into one so far! Good thing is that I'm dropping weight still yay and getting back into walking now

Sorry Jo don't know anything about dreamfeed

Kieran must have just went through a growth spurt too. He gained 10.5 oz in a week! I can never tell though as he's up every 3 hours at night no matter what!

At least thats it for growth spurts until 6 months or so the HV proclaims. Fearne was gaining slowly only 3-4oz per week but after this spurt she has put on loads!

Maybe next month we will be saying they sleep longer at night. Tbh I'm getting used to broken sleep and not feeling so much like a zombie now, hope you girls have that too at least x

Hi ladies, sorry I've been so quiet both on here and FB. I've been keeping up to date but can't always post coz I have Mackenzie on my arm. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong but she seems to be waking up more at night. I still co-sleep but that's coz I'm too exhausted to put her in her cot every time.

Jo, what is a dream feed? I'm usually dreaming while feeding her, lol.

Mackenzie is 4 months tomorrow and only weighs 13lb 4oz. The nurse doesn't seem to be worried but according to the curve on her chart I expected her to weigh at least over 14lb by now. She is exclusively breastfed. Is it possible my milk isn't nourishing enough?

When is the best time to start solids and what are the signs?

I hope your little beans allow you all to have a good sleep tonight :hugs:

Hey jolene I was missing you, glad you have time to pop on! They tend to move up and down the centile lines a little bit and mean not a lot in my experience with Corey so at that weight she sounds like both you and your milk are doing a grand job!

This 3-4 month stage seems a bit mad for most of us with feeding and sleeping, I'm guessing it's the sudden fast development playing a part since in a week Fearne suddenly rolls on her side, can grab toys and hold them and hold her head and weight enough to sit in bumbo and with slight assistance, that's alot of milestones in a sort time! Is Mackenzie the same? X

Jolene, Alex weighs about the same! I am sure your milk is doing a great job and she sounds a great weight xx

Jolene signs for weaning are:

Sit with slight support or unaided
Showing interest/grabbing food
Waking when they slept through
Feeding constantly when its not a growth spurt xxx

Some months babies gain less so it seems like they aren't following a curve but the majority do. Your milk adapts to baby so it should be fine. If you are ever concerned about milk supply eat lots of oats like porridge and flapjacks and drink plenty of water.

I think signals for ready to wean are easy to mistake. ots of debate occurs on this forum over it. I'll be waiting until 6 months but many other start from 4months.
