hi everyone,
Well it took over 6 years and 2 icsi ivf cycles to get our little miracle Jessica Lily,
and with all the ups and downs we went through to get her we wouldnt change it for the world, shes our world!! hehe she was born 31st March 2012, at 3.34pm weighing 8lb 40z xxx
anyways heres how the labour journey went, on the 29h March 2012 me and the OH had been to Tesco's to get a few bits and bobs, it was around 9pmish so when i got in i got straight in my pjs hehe, i got all snug on the setee and started to feel a little warm down below haha! sorry if tmi!!!
anyways i went up to the loo and was wet, so i got cleaned up and chaged was a little embarassed as just thought id peed myself haha, anyways it didnt happen again that night,
when i got up in the morning i was plodding around the house doing a little housework when that warm sensation happened again, and yep i was wet but quite alot then the night before so i rang the OH who was at work and he rushed home, soafter ringing the liverpool womans hospital was asked to go in to get checked, so off we went, when i got there and i did the usual water sample and the nurse did like a little swab thing which checks if i was leaking amniotic fluid or just peed my self haha! anyways got my results back and was told it was my waters, got my urine sample tested and it showed protein and had my blood pressure checked and that was throgh the roof, so obviously got told i was gunna stay in and have my baba!! was sooo excited but scared at the same time,
at about 5am 31st march was took upto the labour ward when they eventually had room hehe!! and was given the gel to speed things along, which was brill! it certainly worked the delightful plug came away and labour started off woop!!! was in labour for about 4 hours and eventually got to 10cms after a shot of diamorphine wich i can gladly say would never have again as all i did was be sick blahhh!!!!!! anyways i was pushing for ages and ages well it felt like that and all Jessica did was pop out and go back in haha!! i was getting a little tired by now and they had a cut off period which they have to do something about getting the baby out to avoid her getting distressed, anyways they decided she i wasnt gunna beable to push her out with out a little help so in came the doc with the spoons ( forceps) haha!
i was given a episiotomy and with the next contraction she was out (literally) , it was the most amazing moment ever the radio was playing during my labour and Jessica was born to make me feel my love by adele!! hehe! so lovely!! anyways i was stinging like mad down below not suprising as to why when the doc said i had a 4th degree tear, ouchy!!! i literally had a little cuddle wth my princess then was whisked off to surgery, 
4 1/2 hours later i was fully reconstructed and was in recovery waiting to see my little mracle again. It was the most amazing experience of my life and even with the ivf and surgery i would do it again in a heartbeat, just wanted to share my story sorry its a little long haha!! xxx
