Job interviews and pre-chosen candidates

I'm sorry, I really don't know enough about the situation with employment and interviews to give any constructive advice but I really feel for you.
It just seems so unfair that they are able to have a specific individual they want to get that job prior to interviewing all the applicants, are they even allowed to do that?!

It's illegal to not advertise and go through interviews, that's why they do it. Thank you for your kind words xx
