Does anyone know if juicing greens helps with fertility or anything? I juice at least every other day and the things I juice are all green veggies. Ex: Kale, celery, carrots, green apple, and cucumbers. Any one have any idea?

I don't juice but your post made me curious so I found this:

if this is important then do the millions of woman who get pregnant every year do this??? :S

I juice every other days or once every 3 days. I cannot do it everyday, I will get sick/bored of doing it.

I juice beets (very high in folic acid), Carrots (good to develop healthy follicles), blueberries (anti-oxidant), and random green veggies such as spinach, cucumber.

Sometimes I put half of an apple to sweeten the juice because raw veggie juice tastes disgusting. LOL

Coincidence or not, after a month of juicing, my ovulation date moved from day 21 to day 16.

Beside juicing, I take wheatgrass pills because wheatgrass is known to improve FSH level.

I cannot wait for pomegranate to be back in season (in USA), that fruit is supposed to be good for fertility too.

a carton of fresh juice (NOT FROM CONCENTRATE) saves you way loads of hassel! :)

Well if you think about it, the veggies and fruits listed are extremely high in folic acid and nutrition that's recommended during early pregnancy. It can't hurt to keep up on it the same way you would keep up on your prenatal vitamins pre-conception for a few months.

IE: I'll be TTC officially in December, but I started taking prenatals yesterday; 3+ months ahead of time to prime my body to be the best host it can be for a pregnancy.

Also: cartons of juice are never fresh. The fruit/veggies are picked, frozen, then sent to factories where they're thawed and juiced, then packaged, then frozen again to be sent to your grocery store to ensure that they don't wind up spoiling in transit and often are on the road for anywhere between 2 days to 1 week depending on where they're being shipped. Juicing fruit/veggies and consuming them as close to their harvest as possible is the best way to benefit from all the vitamins and nutrients they offer. Just a bit of scientific and logistical fact there lol.

I'm not saying that if you don't juice or consume these veggies that you're not going to conceive or that if you do that you will conceive faster. I'm saying that if you do then your body's going in be in much better shape to help support a pregnancy according to modern medical science.

I saw the title and was like..."steroids cant be good for a baby!" haha....at least in the US juicing is slang for steroid use.
Fresh juice is very healthy...it can't hurt, so why not.

yeh sure fresh juice rocks! I'd not had it on any of any of my pregnancies but anything that will help lol!

I have tried doing research about it and never get too much. I started doing it the beginning of this month. This is the first month that I have ever felt hopeful. I have been taking prenatals and folic acid by it self. I know by juicing, especially juicing the greens are really, really healthy so i thought all the extra vitamins and such probably would be helpful lol. Thanks for all the replies ladies!

When I get pregnant next I am going to be soo straight, no pizza's no treats nothing! I know I had my son with no issues but when you want something soo much you will do almost anyting! Babies are soo resilient in the womb but any goodness is.. good! :)
