i want...no, need...to get a jumperoo for Annabelle, as she wants to be up on her feet all the time already, and it's getting impossible to hold her up all the time! lol

i've found one on ebay at a bargain price... BUT... there's a problem with the battery compartment, so the sounds don't work. soooo... my questions is, do those of you with the FisherPrice Rainforest Jumperoo use the sounds, or is it just as fun for baby without??

The sounds are annoying to be honest I leave them off. All it does is a bit of jungle noise/music when they jump and there are some lights that flash. My lo is not bothered she is more entertained by all the toys on it.

yeah i agree the noise is repetative and slightly annoying. i think Willow actually prefers it without the sounds!

xx

Does anyone know how much they usually go for on ebay? There are loads on there with lots of bids too
:flower:

Emilie enjoys the music so I leave the sounds on :flower:

i bought mine for £40 but to be honest its been such a life saver that i would of paid the full £90 for it!! good thing with the sounds is when they knock it from bouncing it makes jungle noises...lexi finds it funny!!

i bought mine for 40 also.. Laila likes the music, mammy doesn't :laugh2: i have it off most of the time, don't think she misses it xx

Izzy loves the sounds, she used to find it a tad boring sometimes but when i turned it on she would start to jump around and smile!

i'm thinking i'll go for a fully functioning one! thanks ladies :D

Not sure if my response will help much as Abby was a preemie so her actual age and developmenall age are very different. But she went into hers at 6 months actual, which meant she was, apparently, developmentally only at 3 months. Now, whether or not your average 3 month old would be able to go in it, I've no idea. She had very good head control and could sit and stand (albeit with support) really well by that point.

Started putting Imogen in hers at around three months with a cushion under her feet. She didn't spend long in it at first, but she built up her time in it pretty quickly. WE have three now and my favourite is the new bright starts one. They don't seem to sell it any more, so I got it from ebay for forty quid, and it's brilliant and folds flat!

Thanks guys!! i only remembered we had it the other day as ive had it for about a year now... i was hoping you'd say 3 months hehe! think i may get it out over the weekend and give it a good clean and let her have a go :) thanks guys!! xx

We just brought one of these for Chloe. I noticed on Ebay lately they are going for around £40 -£50 plus an average of £15 postage. So found this https://www.rosebudbaby.co.uk/fisher-price-rainforest-jumperoo-p-45.html for £79 free postage on Monday and it arrived today. Whilst she cant quite reach the floor she does love it having already spent 30 mins in it and giving me 30 mins of free arms :)

I started putting fin in his at 3 months but he didnt seem to enjoy it until this last week really x

Ordered one - brand new the rainforest one from Very.co.uk - used to be littlewoodsdirect - £66!!!! Delivered next week:thumbup:

I found the sounds a bit annoyin but my LO did like them. However when batteries dieds she still played in it just the same

I just got the fisher price ocean wonders jumperoo (my DD Kathryn had the rainforest one but when we went to get it out of the basement for John it was covered in mold :( ), John went in it about a week ago and by the 2nd day he was in it for almost an hour! He just loves it! I haven't put the batteries in yet, I'll save it for when he's getting a bit bored of it, then when it lights up and plays music it'll be like a whole new toy, so I do think you should get a working one.

aussy likes the noises, when he knocks it and they start he jumps about even more than ussual! Iwould say start using it as soon as they can fully support there head. Its the best purchase we have ever made! Worth every Penny, weve had it almost 2 weeks and he now sits in it for ages, all day probably if id let him hehe x
