[Second Chance]

I always look at this thread and for some reason I thought that I put my little man on here but I guess not. Carter was born June 7, 2010. Just like everyone else, time has flown by. During pregnancy you can't wait to get to double digits. but when LO turned ten weeks I wanted to cry. We def. need some more activity on this thread. So I have a quick question, how do you keep your LO from inching to the side or to the top of the crib? Once he hits a side or the top, he wakes up.

I lay my son in his boppy in his crib it keeps him from moving and he seems very comfortable.

Nathan wiggles - he will be out of his moses basket soon becuase he is so long he almost fills it, dont want him to go into his own room yet either

I find that if I anchor something below the rocker stand it stops him from ending up at the foot end of the basket which also made him wake - I have a few inches from his head/feet to the top and bottom of the basket so I try to centre him and he sleeps in grobags so he can kick about too.

How old are they when they start to hold little toys and taggies etc?

Around 12 weeks i seem to remember? However Jake does reach out to toys to hit them or kick them, but when holding something he forgets he has it until it is in his eye's line or it hits him in the face as he moves his hands xxxx

Thats the same with Nathan Emma, he is holding and pulling things but doesnt seem to be aware of it - he got weighed yesterday he's 15lbs 1oz now no wonder I struggle with him and his car seat! Bought a mei tai carrier last week that I'm trying to get him used to!

I put Jake in one just before we went to France and he was asleep in seconds!!! Worked a dream whilst going on the plane and through customs................he just slept xxx

hello! I didn't bother coming on here anymore as noone ever seemed to reply, but nice to see you back Emma and Delilah and welcome to the new ladies!

Baby has started to take toys and put them in her mouth just last week. She has been making little cooing noises at me for a while now.... it's so cute!

How are you all? I have been on holiday which is fab, otherwise really well... and I do want another baby.... aaaaaahhhh will it ever stop?!

We just completed our baby massage course so starting baby swimming and baby yoga in september DD1 still going to lots of groups too but she will soon go to nursery/preschool every day And baby is already 11 weeks old, I am sad... I wish I could keep them both small forever, just loving having the 2 kids!

Off AGAIN on holiday tomorrow but this time to colds Scotland as opposed to warm south of France. Yes i am MAAAAAD!!!!

I would have 100's of babies Linn if i could afford it and have the sapce for them all. OH has already seen the dr and is having a vasectomy at the end of the year, so BOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOO no more xxx

Hi everyone!

I know how you all feel about our LO's getting so big so quickly - sometimes I wish she could stay a baby forever, we (ok, I) have so much fun! But after a 2 hour screaming session when she's tired, I change my mind! I'm thinking about number 2, OH isn't!!

I think as mothers our natural instinct is to want more once we have got one settled in! I dont know what I will do yet.

Linn good to see you hon - I was the same I stopped checking because nobody was posting!

Do you think it would be better to have a facebook group instead of on here because everyone seems to check facebook more regular? I dont know I miss you all!!!!!

Got an appt for Nathan's 8 weeks jabs for when he is 10 weeks old do you think this is ok?

I stopped checking in as well because no one was posting I've been keeping up with you all on facebook though. All of the babies are gorgeous and coming along so well! I do think it's sad how fast they are growing up, but at the same time, I much prefer Layla at this age than as a newborn! Things become more fun every day now she plays with toys and interacts with us, and she has a lovely routine and sleeps 12 hours straight at night, 8:30-8:30.

My best friend has just had a baby and she is absolutely tiny in comparison to Layla now, I already find it hard to believe that she was ever that small!!

Good to hear from you all, how is every one? Are you all still breastfeeding? xxxxxxxx

lili nice to see you on, have missed you! i am still bf, sooooooo happy about that! so easy... nearly every time i feed her i am grateful i didnt just have to make a bottle! I am loving looking aqfter o+e and do want another baby... but not too soon! the vomiting is putting me off! E sleeps 8 hrs now! she sleeps 9-5 and then til 8 and then 11 if we don't go out! you are lucky with layla but I must say i'm enjoying the night feeds now

lozandevie why don't you check with the hv or local sure start for baby massage? E loved it and am very much looking forward to baby yoga!

d a group sounds good, but only for us buddies?? cause there already is the other group!

jabs are fine 2 weeks later hun.

can you believe E has got 2 teeth since this week, explained why it took ages for her to fall asleep last week!

Hmmmm I know what you mean about wanting another Linn. I can see why people have lots of babies, but at the same time one is enough for me right now! I will do it again though, in a few years.

E&l no wonder you're not feeling that great you've done a total uprooting of your life weeks after having a new baby.... i'm here too if you want to talk.

Linn OMG at 2 teeth already! Nathan is sleeping more or less all night - I'm not bf anymore Lili I stopped at 32 days and expressed for a while but now I'm back working full time he's on formula. Wont even go there about the guilty feelings etc I'm ok about it now!
