Just a bit of sunday fun....

Yea and me dancing in a really stupid way with a belly the size of the moon really impressed her I bet :D

All the joys of motherhood. Kinda weird being only 27 and not cool...

Well look at that, 12 hours later and Im still winning

Not as awesome as me - winning on Sunday. Happy Sunday everyone!

Yay, it's Sunday again! Guess who just 'suffered' a big time bout of nesting?? :cloud9:

Blah come and nest at my place, its so trashed. A tornado would do it a favor!

I had my baby shower today, made a cake and 3 year old DS asked what it was for, I said it was to take along to the baby shower. He said "no, it will get wet"! :D

Sunday again, holy cow, 4 weeks max till I pop!

Here's the cake I made :)

Mmmmmmmhhhh, looks absolutely delish... *drools* Did your DS insist on bringing an umbrella along? :haha:

Haha no he didnt bring an umbrella :D

Oh and just like 3 minutes ago I got a phone call by a really old sounding raspy voiced old man and he didnt give a name. He asked how I was and what I was doing Wednesday night, and invited me over for a catch up and a meal! I didnt wanna sound rude so I said yes, and where? He said "just here at home"....
I asked who he was inviting and he said "the Parkers"! I was like ummmmmmm thats not me, you have the wrong number!

Damn, no free meal!

That's creepy... Is there no cake left for you to indulge in instead?

Haha he probably thought I was creepy saying yes to someone I didnt know! (I wouldnt actually have gone lol)

Yes theres cake left over, doubt it would last till Wednesday!

Well it's quarter to 8 and Im spent! Ill retire to my bed and Ill let you win for the next 12 or so hours!

:D

Bah fat chance. Although I'm exhausted and will probably be sleeping soon. Very big day. Finally back from my retreat. Was pretty wonderful.

Oh Wow. If you ever visit Aust, you gotta stay at this place. The nearby town is a hippy town but just ignore that lol.
It was a bed and breakfast. We had out own personal breakfast chef. The bathroom had his and hers showers and a HUGE bath that we both fit in with ease. View was breathtaking... I'm not a view person but this even got me excited.
Service was beautiful. We'll go back in the summer when can use the pool.
Went to dinner both nights which was nice but it looks like I've got late-onset morning sickness in the evenings. Same time, every night, severe nausea. Gotta love the joys of pregnancy eh?

Unfortunately the beds were NOT pregnancy friendly. TOO HARD. I didn't sleep the first night and the only reason I slept the second was because we stole all the cushions from around the place and stuffed them under the sheet on my side. I can't wait to crawl into my bed tonight and actually have a "good" night sleep (well as good as it gets being pregnant and everything dislocating as you roll...). How arj is doing this is beyond my comprehension. How I'm going to do this in a few weeks time is beyond me too..... Uck.

24-ish week midwife appointment tomorrow :D Hopefully she'll be more useful than just shoving on a doppler. I'll put in my list of demands lol.

Sounds wonderful (apart from the nausea-could this still be related to your gastro incident a few days ago?- and hard mattress)! Yay for babymoons!

Ooh, good luck for tomorrow's appointment. Yah, make a list and throw all questions you have at her. I do that too.

Yeh, poor lady wont know what hit her. I've written out basically a list of demands. We're going rural this Thursday and I'm not taking ANY risks.

Good arvo!

So I've let you two win for a while, but Im here now to re-claim my position

How do you sleep at night Arj? Not an insult - a genuine question. My hips are already dislocating if I spend more than 15 minutes on any one side.

Oh, the MW was a massive disappointment. She did nothing when I told her of bleeding and contractions. Off to my favourite GP this arvo to get a request for a reassurance scan tomorrow :D
Bub's HR was a bit high though :-/ What are your bubs sitting around?

How can your midwife not offer a scan to begin with?? Definitely put your foot down, Hun. Not sure about LO's heartbeat, we listened to it last time but weren't told how many bpm.
