Just a bit of sunday fun....

arj- my name is Nicole. I happen to adore sapphires, got a lovely sapphire/diamond engagement ring.

Emerald- a very beautiful name indeed.

Very wishful

Meh, I spend too much time here too but I have no pregnant friends to hang out with in "real life"

Same here! Facebook just tells me who's preggers or who just gave birth. 'real life' interaction would be lovely, but hey...

OMG pregnancy hormones. Feeling great again today but just got angry at a news article and almost cried. Cried? WTF... it does not warrant crying...
Long story short, some guy on a political show had a seizure and passed out at the desk (on live TV). The lady next to him stared at him and moved away like he was diseased - it took someone from the other end of the desk to rush over to give him aid. Just her reaction infuriated me to the point of *almost* tears.

Not to make any excuses for her not stepping in immediately, but I'm not sure how I would react myself in such a situation. I'm a certified first aider and luckily I never had to 'prove' my skills until now. People either go into fight or flight mode when faced with emergencies.
Was that guy okay in the end though?

Yeah he was ok. Oh don't get me wrong, no one "jumped" but even after it was obvious something was very wrong, she kept moving away looking in utter disgust.

Disgust certainly isn't an appropriate emotion/reaction in this case. Good to hear he's okay.

Gosh, Emerald- could your girly be any more precious?? Look at that face! I take it your appointment went well?

Can I just butt in and say that I had a 34 week growth scan, one twin is on the freakin' 97th percentile! 6lb8 already! The other is on the 66th percentile at 5lb8, little Mr Twin A is a greedy guts and has gained 1lb1oz in the last 11 days, who does that?!!!?! Leaving poor little starving Twin B with only 5oz of growth!

Twin A's abdominal circumfrence is actually off the charts, they just wrote >98%!

:hissy: :brat: Twin A is set to come out breech, a bit fat round breech baby who is growing like the Incredible Hulk and I still have a month to go!

Oh, arj... I know it's not funny, but your 'Who does that???!!' comment made me laugh! Very greedy indeed... You should have a deep and meaningful with him the second he pops out.

Thanks

Went fantasmal - if not a little expensive (eep). But it was worth it; they have a knew technology that gives a more life-like 3D as seen in that pic.
She's got DH's frown (lol!) and his nose and she's got my lips. So far she's got the features I really wanted her to have.

I shouldn't have laughed but I did... just the incredible hulk comment.
Are they c-sectioning you to get the little chubster and his brother out?

Good! Bet you can't wait to squeeze those cheeks. DF and I keep joking about LO's features: his looks (he is gorgeoussss) and my physique! :winkwink:

I want to chew on her face and feet already. I just realised how big her feet are... holy shit

Your physique, eg? - :bodyb:?

Maybe I should rephrase that: pre-pregnancy physique is what I mean. I used to do track and field when I was younger and yoga has helped me tone up big time during the last couple of years (not very :bodyb:, just toned and lean). I have not moved my lazy bum ever since I conceived... :coffee:

Nope, no C section, Im vaginalling it. :nope:

Rip tear bust...

And I agree, your baby in your pic is so SWEET! So peaceful looking

Vaginalling eh? I LOVE that term and am totally stealing it and labeling it my own *shifty look*

I know this is probably getting a bit personal, but are you, erm, "preparing" for vaginalling it? I've bought myself one of those pumps that actually help stretch the area before to avoid said rip tear bursting. You use from 34 weeks and it's suppose to reduce the chance of tearing by 70%. Tearing and pooping are my two biggest labour fears...

Peaceful... maybe for about 10 minutes out of the day lol. It's currently wake up time and she's bruising me as usual. Oh, and she kicked the probe off my abdomen at the scan today.

I guess twin A did enjoy your delicious cake a bit too much... :winkwink:

Well if she wasn't so f-ing selfish and had just posted some to us, she wouldn't be in this predicament.
I'm actually not that far away - just across the water from NZ right on the east coast. But nope, she chooses to make her cake and eat it too. Now she has an incredible hulk twin.

A pump to help stretch?? I'm intrigued... Get your hands on this thing asap, arj!!

Well, posting a picture is an outrage to begin with (let alone NOT sharing!!!!!!). My mouth kept watering for a veeery long time...
