Just found out I'm pregnant! What now??

Hi !! What did you ladies do when you first found out you were pregnant! I made a doctors appointment today for feb 5, as I am only 5 weeks ATM But other then that I'm completely lost and confused on what to do next! Any advice?

There is nothing to do next, just take it easy. Take your prenatal that is very important. Once you have your doctors appointment they will let you know what you need to do from there on out. Don't stress the small stuff.

What's prenatal ?? :/ and did you have bad heartburn around 5 weeks

Prenatal means while pregnant! You need to go Walmart or whatever grocery store are you and pick up some Prenatal Vitamins, then just wait for your appointment!

Okay ! Thank you I just picked up some at the grocery store they're called "natures way, your life multi, prenatal vitamins"

I had terrible morning sickness and heartburn throughout my whole pregnancy. Yes, prenatal vitamins. I actually take them now and I use the vitafusion gummy ones. Can't even tell it's a vitamin.

Also with my son I had heartburn from around 5 weeks!

HORRIBLE HEARTBURN still to this day i get it and horrible acid reflux and I'm 32 weeks. Tums really help me. I pop them like candy. (just read the label to see how much is safe to take in a certain period) but they are completely safe during pregnancy

Definitely take your vitamins! I took the gummy ones and loved them, sometimes I wished I could take more then 2 a day! I didn't get heartburn until I was about 35 weeks but when I did it was horrible, woke me up during the night half the time. Between going to the bathroom and the heartburn I think I get more sleep now! Congratulations, wishing you a happy & healthy 9 months!

You didn't have to wait that long for the Dr. appointment, unless they don't see you until a certain week.
With my first I was scared and stupid, and hid my pregnancy for 7 months. I now have a handsome 2 year old son, and currently pregnant with baby #2!
I am about 10 weeks pregnant and I have my first OB appointment Jan. 10.
