Just found out!!

I'm not exactly a teen - just turned 20 last week - so I'm hoping it's okay that I post here.

I took a couple tests over the last few days and I'm pregnant! My boyfriend and I are both excited a and nervous and happy and everything in between. I was not planning on it of course, so I have a few questions of what to do now.

I recently moved to a new city and don't have a doctor here as I haven't been able to find a clinic accepting new patients. I have been going to a walk-in clinic up until now, and probably will be for a while longer. When do I go to the doctors office? I am estimating myself to be between 3-4 weeks as my last period ended on August 29th. Do I go ASAP? Or do I wait a while? I need a little advice as I have no idea what to do right now!

Sounds like you're in a decent place! Call a local OBGYN or go to the walk in clinic and make an appt ASAP. They'll do an ultrasound and bloodwork to confirm and tell you how far you are! Most likely they'll also give you pamphlets on what to expect! If you go to the clinic they'll recommend an OBGYN. Just look up reviews on whether they're good or not!
Check the library or local bookstore for preggo books. I don't remember which one I read but it was something about being surprised and young! Haha.

I'm not sure where you are but I went to the doctors within a week of my positive test both times then I was referred to the midwife but I'm in the UK!

I went to the doctors the same day i got my BFP! and i got an appointment with the MW within the week
