just got back from growth scan

first of all had to wait nearly 3 hours in total thanks to sonographers not turning up to work which drove me nuts after about an hour of waiting and watching other people go before me that came after me. but was very happy when i finally got to see my lil girl again cant believe how different she looks compared to at my 20 week scan. anyway growth scan went really well and even got the lady to double check im having a girl lol. (just had to make sure). tod me baby is perfect size then i read on my notes that she is 5lb 8oz already which i think is huge am now hoping if it is right that i have her a couple weeks early so shes not too big lol.

she does have very long legs though right up the top end of the scale thing. could that cause them to over est her weight??

hey hun glad yr babys doing so well !!! her leg length wont effect the weight thing my friends baby had really long legs at birth she looked so sweet though tiny and cute 7lb but with long legs !! we nicknamed her frog legs cause she wasn't used to having space around them and kept them bent all the time !!
besides if yr baby girl wants to be a supermodel she needs the legs !!!

lol. shes gunna be a horse rider like her mummy i already decided lol. she doesnt have a choice in that at least not till shes older.

That's not huge at all hun... in the last few wks baby's can put on 1/2lb a week, so up to 40wks that means your LO will be over 8lb which is pretty much average now x
