Just Need to Vent

thank you i just wish these men understood what we go thru and how much our family means to us at least the expanding part of it

Hi sg0720 I was reading your very first post which started this thread and I see u mentioned you were on the depo shot, I was as well after I had my 2 boys who are now 5 and 6 (<~~goin on 16 LoL) and i stopped June 2010 me and DH have been NTNP for about 3 months and when AF was late this month we decided we were going to activley start TTC, but what i was thinking is...could have being on the depo have any effect on us TTC? Could it have made it harder for us?

yes i definitely believe that it has made it harder for us to try and conceive thats what i believe i got off the depo closer to the end of 2010 and i am still not pregnant yet...and now i wish i never got on the depo in the first place becuase i think i would already have fallen pregnant..

Me to!!! BTW wanting a bigger family is not selfish at all....good luck and lots of baby dust to you... :dust:

thank you and same to you hope you get your bfp :dust:

Hi Ladies

I think it's perfectly natural to want more kids and not at all selfish. I want 3, OH is happy with 1 so we're hopefully compromising on 2. He said we'll negotiate after the first one.... ever the financial planner ;)

I think preseed would be ok to use, esp if you keep the amnt small. He may not notice....like the other ladies said...dress sexy and ambush him :)

I think my OH would prefer that I be less aware and 'active' about our NTNP. I don't want to chart or temp or anything. I also decided I don't want drugs to help us. I wouldn't mind natural things. My cousin said she read yams help. And I found a study that showed communities where yams are a staple food are more likely to have multiples... I don't know if you have to eat them forever or just when you're TTC... she said she's known a few ladies to give it a try after no luck for a year or more and within a cycle or 3 they had their BFP (and a single baby).

So I may try to get yams in our diet more if this doesn't work... and look into the soy.

We have these images of our families... and our broodiness will not rest until we feel complete!

Not to say I won't see a specialist if we have no luck after a year, I'd like to know why it isn't happening... just not sure if I'd be comfortable doing something about it.

As much as I'm into positive thinking, I had a breakdown last night and bawled my eyes out telling OH I feel like a failure as a woman because every other woman in my family has conceived without issue, very quickly, multiple times. (except for 2 spinster aunts).

So my dear, we've all been there. And those who say other wise are lying or live in some alternate reality where the stork lives and it's always Christmas and never Winter.

We'll get there. Vent away. Broody women just get each other.
