Just ordered OPK'S!

I just ordered a 50 pack of opk's from amazon.... so i should be good to for next month! Now hopeful I ov! Or i'm gunna be even more angry with my docs! It's killing me to wait to talk to her until wed about my vitamin d level!!!!

Any suggestions about the time of day to test? I think I remember seeing something about like 9 am and then some time in the afternoon???? in the begining of just I had a positive opk in the morning.... so in your opinion do you think I should try testing am and pm because I will have plenty of tests to do so???? I have only used an opk twice before and I only tested in the am both times.... the first time I never had a positive(so i could have missed it or I didnt ov) and this past time the line was as dark as the control line when I took it in the am....

Last month was my first month using OPKs as well. I ordered the same 50-pack off of Amazon. FMU shouldn't be used, as the LH levels can build up overnight in the urine naturally and give you false results. So, for me, I ended up taking a test at about 11am and another at 6-7pm, starting at CD10. Then I *thought* I got positives on CD20 and CD21 because the test line was as dark as the control line. Lo and behold, a week later, I got EWCM and a horrible back ache so decided to test for the heck of it...now THAT was a blazing positive. So, the moral of my babbling, is that everyone tests positive differently on those so you'll have to find out what's a positive for you and your body. Next time I'm just going to save pics of my tests to compare them.

Hmm interesting and good to know meggo. I have started temping too so that should help me narrow it down.

This might be a silly question but I have heard so much about temping and I am curious. Do you take your temp orally or vaginally?

You can do it either way, but I just do it orally.... seems kinda weird vaginally, I wouldn't be comfortable doing that.
