Hello Roisin and welcome. I've been on this journey (over a year) a little longer than you (wishing you a shorter one) so if you need any support or advice please don't hesitate to ask. The process can be a bit trying on your patience and can take over your brain, but like I said there are so many other people on here going through the same thing.

I find using apps like Ovia or Fertility Friend really helpful in keeping me on track with when my fertile time is (plus using OPK's) and when AF is due. I've been using them so long Ovia predicts my period to the minute! It's just interesting and helpful to track over time.

I really hope you get that BFP soon. Welcome and happy holidays! And please lemme know if you need any support, advice or just to vent!

It lovely to know there is support on here. I don't now about you guy but I find it hard to speak to my family and friends about this as don't wanna get there hopes up and down. So at the moment we haven't told anyone we are TTC.

I currently using an app on my phone to track my cycles. According to that I am currently 12 dpo having had all the signs of ovulation around the 16/17 of December. So I'm trying my best to hold of testing until the new year!! Which is easier said then done.

I'm right there with you. At 11dpo now.... We haven't really told anyone we are ttc either, I already hAve my hopes up enough as it is nevermind family and friends asking, etc.. With good intentions of course �� I figured then it will be a good surprise when we do get to tell everyone. Good luck with testing!!

Yep exactly the same as how we feel with telling our family . When will you start testing?! I'm currently on day 30 of my cycle. I usually have 28 day cycles but last month it was 33 day so a bit apprehensive to start testing yet. If I was having a normal 28 day cycle my af would he due however if I go by my last cycle af isn't due til the 3rd!! So so so frustrating.

I have been having a few symptoms like nausia, headaches, very tired, a little spotting at 5dpo and some cramping but everything has seemed to have stopped over the last couple of day. But not having the usual pre-period feeling either. I guess it just a waiting geame now and try not to test yet as don't wanna turn into a line reader like last month.

JM02 it great your at the same stage as me. Maybe we can try keep each other going these next couple of days. Keep us updated how you get on. Baby Dust to everyone ❤️

I am on my 2nd cycle TTC #1 as well. I know EXACTLY what you mean about the journey, it can be lonely because you don't tell anyone. We chose not to because we have only been married a few months and we didn't want to get peppered with a million questions. I am really glad we made that decision because now that I know it doesn't just happen in a minute, I don't think I could have handled all the pressure if our family knew. I am only 4DPO today, a LONG TWW ahead of me Anyway... GL to you!!

Hope you all had a good new year. Just wanted an update on how you ladies have been doing this cycle I am late for my monthly visitor it was due 3rd January. I am a bit scared to test I tested on Tuesday which was a BFN so I am guna hold off testing today and test tomorrow morning if she doesn't make an appearance.

Generally I feel normal, I had some mild cramping for a couple of days before af was due, but it was very different from my normal cramping before af and very very slight nausia but nothing to shout about... Ow and really bad headaches!! Some have been almost unbearable. Apart from that I haven't had any other syptoms which would make me think I was preggers. I am just keeping my fingers crossed ❤️

I tested this morning and got a BFN so not sure what's going on It was with a clear blue test which I hate anyways as I don't believe they are very trust worthly but they were the ones my OH brought.

I am on CD 37 and 19 dpo unless I O'd later which I pretty sure I didn't. I have never ever had a cycle this long up until the last 2 cycles I have always been 28 days the last two were 33 days so frustrating.

I so want my BFP it's horrible being stuck in this limbo. I am guna hold off testing for another couple of days maybe when I'm 5 days later if my af doesn't show before.

I'm sorry yours was a bfn, I feel your frustration. Could you maybe tell me what "CD" stands for? I'm guessing dpo is Days past ovulation but if that is not correct, please tell me

I've done two tests (one on Friday and one this morning) both are bfn but my AF is 10 days late so I still have hope.

CD means cycle days so being on CD 37 is a very very long cycle for me and yes DPO means days post ovulation good luck to you have you thought about making a doctors appointment seeing as your so late. I'm sure they would be able to do a blood test for you

Yes, I will be making an appointment for a blood test, how long after conception should I take it? I'm not 100% sure of Conception date but have a fair idea. I want to be sure that the result will be accurate whether it is positive or negative.

I'm not 100% on how long but see as your 10 days late I'm sure that's should show something up on a blood test! When u ring ask to speak to your doctor they should be able to give you the best advice. Keeping my fingers crossed for you x

Tested again just now after a 3 hours hold and still bfn so disappointment. I have decided I am not guna drive myself crazy over this. I guna think I'm not preggers if af doesn't come I'll test again on 10th I'll then be 7 days late and if still bfn then make a dr appointment!!

Don't get me wrong I wanna be preggers... but at the moment I just feel like I want af to show so at least I now either way and then can move on with my next cycle. Feel like crying bloody annoying body

I went to get the test done yesterday and got a BFN but then made an appointment at the doc's for Thursday to see why my AF is late (11 days now).

Sorry to hear about the bfn for you, I'll keep my fx!!
