i was just wondering what happens at the 16 week appointment? x

Not a huge deal really, at mine i had my urine tested, blood pressure checked and they had a prod of my tummy to check the height of my uterus and that was about it

yea its just urine and blood pressure test, some mw listen to babies heartbeat at 16 weeks but some dont till 24 for some reason! lol you shouldnt need any more blood tests for a little while hun, i gota have some this week

yep thats what mine was to, checked blood pressure, didnt check my wee cos i forgot to bring a sample in, had me lie on the bed and felt my bump, listened to heartbeat, asked if everything was ok, any questions etc, was in and out in bout 5 mins haha

had blood pressure, weight all that taken and pee, and if your having the triple screening test for down syndrome and spinal ambifida she'll take your bloods for that and then send it off and u usually get a letter with the results on in 2 weeks. xx
