Dr Gerry McCann says he noticed that the door to the children’s room was ‘wider open than before’. He says that at 8.30pm it had been open at an angle of about 45 degrees (half open). He remembers (he says) that when he went to check the children at 9.05pm, the door was now open at an angle of 60 degrees (two thirds open).
The fact that the door - according to Dr Gerald McCann - was now (at 9.05pm) more open more than it was before (at 8.30pm), has been used by him to suggest the possibility that the abductor may have been already in the apartment when he checked on the children, although he says he only realised this possibility some months after the events of the day. Dr Gerry McCann has said that the abductor might have been hiding behind a door or in a wardrobe while he spent several minutes doing his ‘check’ on the children.

I've been reading this thread with interest, I find it extraordinarily odd that a father would be joking about on a balcony just a few days after their child had gone missing..and just looking at a website now https://jillhavern.forumotion.net/n...ce-mitchell-to-gerry-mccann-early-august-2009 The picture of Gerry and his wife holding that t-shirt up looks odd beyond belief, who the hell would look so elated to hold a picture up of their missing child? Oh, and how fresh faced they looked also.

It's not certain he was talking about Maddie, he could have been talking about his wife/girlfriend but still makes you shudder

When I first commented (about 30 pages back) I was more on the McCanns side but reading & seeing some of the other 'evidence' im now not so sure x someone else said they think she was killed on Gerry's watch & that Kate wasn't told until age realised she was missing & grim then Gerry has manipulated her & made her just as guilty as him x I think she's scared of him & tbh I would be too, he looks like he could snap at any moment & he's very good at getting people to do what he wants x

I read that statement you posted just before, i think he was talking about Maddie, at least thats what the actuall statement from the couple who went on holiday with them before said... pretty sick. pretty sick that david payne wasnt checked out for being a pedophile

I can't explain that one either way?? How would it get on her trousers?? If she held Maddie after she died surely she would have got rid of them so as not to implicate her??

Maybe not, I suggested yesterday maybe they were both there and she fell off sofa, there was blood, and she was holding Maddie but her top didnt wash out ok so she got rid of it, but she thought her trousers were ok, but they werent..

I really dont know anymore, But i just amnt sure it was on Gerry's watch. Who's to say it wasnt on *Dave's* Watch? Or maybe all the tapas 7 are in on something a lot more sinister, who knows. Its messing with my head
