Kindle Fire?

Since I have started getting cross eyed reading reviews (good and bad) on the Kindle Fire I thought I'd ask on here! Do you have one and would you recommend it? I'm buying myself a Christmas pressie and would love to hear your thoughts on it. Thanks

I have one but it's in its box in the wardrobe I've read mostly good reviews and the bad ones I've read have been about how little content there is - something that IMO will just improve as the Fire gains popularity and Amazon get their app store up and running properly.

We looked at them for the kids for Christmas but went for blackberry playbooks instead as they were £30 cheaper, we were buying 2 so a good £60 saved, the playbook had better storage too

I was totally frazzled after a morning looking at all the different kinds lol

They are £99 on amazon today. I asked DH to go to PC world and go play with that and a iPad mini, and in all honesty he liked both a lot, and hes an Apple boy. I got him the mini because I know he likes apple but a Kindle Fire wouldnt have been an issue for him either.

I have the Kindle fire HD because the normal fire seems really clunky and massive and quite slow in comparison. I wouldn't pay the price of the normal fire, I would buy something with better specs for a similar price
