Knitting Pattern

Can someone help me find a knitting pattern for something like this? I know nothing about knitting but I LOVE this. I dunno where to look for them. I'm going to get my grandmother to knit one

Rae - go check out Ravelry. You have to sign up to view everything, but there are thousands of projects and patterns posted.
I would also look up knitty.com, Debbie Bliss, and Interweave Knits. There will be links to a zillion knitting blogs from there.
