if any of you can give me advise that would be great i am so close to tears right now i dont know how much i can take. please excuse my essay as it is rather log but wanted to give you all the full picture.

i lost jessica in april cycles since then have been 43 days,37days,38 days,43 days and i am currently on cd32 (with af being due cd45ish).

last cycle i got pink tinged ewcm on cd18-21 before jessica i would usually ov between then so presumed it was ov especially as i got near positive opks. but then cd29/30 i got positive opks and ewcm ff put my ov date as cd31 so clearly didnt ovulate when i first thought.

this cycle i was sent for a scan as part of my rcm investigations.this was on 13th oct (cd15) i was told everything looked normal and that i had a dominant follicle measuring 10mm she said she thought i would ov at the weekend (cd19-20) as they like the egg to be about 15mm in size before it pops. so the weekend came and went got a bit of ewcm but no + opk.

cd26-27 my opks start to get darker at this point i had ran out but was pretty sure it would have been positive within the next day or so made all the more sure by the fact on cd28 i got copious amounts of ewcm the most i have seen in a long time cand pretty much i would call fertile ewcm. so assumed i had ov'd then infact i was positive i had ov'd (before my angels i would dermine ov by my ewcm since we werent ttc then)

had no fertile ewcm since infact all cm has pratically dried up andwhat i do get is creamy/sticky. cervix is firmish and closed.so on that basis i thought i was on the 2ww.

yesterday saw some boots opk tests in my local chemist that were on offer as the expiry date was for the 31st of this month so bought a few packs. so when i got home decided to do one and a very clear positive this was yesterday cd31 again this afternoon another + opk but not as dark as the one last night. this evenings was negative.

anyways the point of all this clearly there is something wrong with my body and its failing to ov first time round and then trying again another time and its now 2 cycles in a row.

(its not the first time this has happened either).

has anyone else had this. did you find out why? i am awaiting on cd3 hormones test to come through but thats not til the end of november and with whats happened these past two cycles i am tempted to ring my consultant and ask for them now.

just wish i knew what was going on with my body. i cant keep going through this month after month as its putting a strain on my relationship with df and its going to tear us apart. just want to have a normal 28 day cycle or at least answers as to why my body is failing me  feels like everything is against me this time all i want is another healtrhy baby after the heartache i have been through but my body isnt willing to give me that. feels like mother nature is against me :(

thanks for reading and apologises again for it being so long. x

Sorry hun, I have no advise. I just didn't want to read and run.
:hugs::hugs::hugs:

My best friend swears she ovulates twice a month, so it's not out of the question, strange though it may sound.
I'm no expert at any of this, but would you consider acupuncture? It's supposed to be fantastically helpful with a whole range of fertility issues and surely couldn't do any harm if you decided to give it a go.
It sounds like you really need to try something to help you to feel better. Stress alone can have a terrible effect on your body. I use reflexology - good for balancing your hormones and incredibly relaxing.
Hope this helps - and hope it happens for you soon!

thanks abster. acupuncture is a no no lol i cant stand needles and only put up with them when i really have to lol. reflexology i have thought about but with 2 children and df on a low wage its not something i can afford to do right now :(

its not that i stress i remain quite chilled out during my cycle and around ov but when this happens its when i start to stress lol.

i didnt think it would be possible to ovulate twice every month i know its rare to even ovulate twice in a month now and again. i guess will have to do what i did last cycle wait for af to show and start a fresh. x

Sorry, I don't have any answers for you. I don't use OPK's as I find the results too confusing. I prefer just to listen to my body and check CM and temps. Last cycle I had thought that I O'd earlier on, but then temps dropped and I basically started cycle over and ended up O'd on CD 43. My cycles normally are around 30 days. Maybe your body abandons an ovulation and tries again later. Sorry I can't be more help.

Hi Babytots,
I've just read your original post again. There's a great thread on the site about using Vitamin B complex to lengthen the luteal phase (in the TTC section) - I spent 3 hours reading it last weekend - and some women have used it really effectively to regulate their cycles. If you go to page 42-ish, you'll find someone called Vestirse, who was incredibly knowledgeable about the whole thing and you may find some of what she says very useful. I'm not recommending that you take the supplement, but that you read the thread and see if you think B-complex seems like a good idea for you. I had a very early miscarriage in april and I'm starting ot wonder if that's when things went slightly wrong for me.
Best wishes, abster.

thanks hun i have read up on vitamin b but my luteal phase is normal at 13 days but i am thinking of trying angus cactus or maybe royal jelly next month to see if either work at regulating my cycles. is so frustrating not knowing whats going on with your body half the time! x

Hey babytots.
I have been off BCP since Aug and only been using OPK this cycle (after 3 '28' day cycles). I find them very confusing as I now have more positive ones this week, despite having them last week also.
I think you should def contact consultant and try to get some answers sweetie. I am going to call docs tomorrow and see if they can help as I am concerned as to what is happening with my body also.
Please keep smiling - lots of PMA coming your way petal xxxxxx
