Ladies in your 3rd trimester, how strong are baby's movements? Most of my baby's movements are quite subtle and I'm putting this down to anterior placenta, oils this be the case?

Mine had a quiet few weeks where his movements almost seemed muted but for the past month or so there has been no denying that he's in there rocking out lol he makes my stomach jump all around and he loves to stick his litte butt out on my left side lol I haven't seen many of the crazy kicks that make your skin stretch out, but I'm assuming that's because I'm not exactly the to next person lol

I've had an anterior placenta for all my kiddos and the movement has really varied for all - so part of it is the AP and the other is just the activity level of the baby. This one I didn't feel loads until about 32 weeks and since then I get massive rolls and movements that usually wake me up several times a night. My others didn't move so much so late. My first wasn't a mover (in utero - he is now lol) and apart from the subtler movements I didn't really feel him like my next 2. I still feel much stronger kicks and jabs toward the sides than right in the middle though - even at 37 weeks.

I'm 28 weeks and have been feeling definite movement from 15 weeks. I never feel anything directly in the centre of my belly, but feel lots to the sides. I would say the movements aren't as strong as with my posterior placenta pregnancies though.

I have an anterior placenta and would only say the past 2 weeks I have been feeling strong movements. Compared to my posterior placenta pregnancy it is a lot less!

I'm almost 28 weeks with my third baby but my first anterior placenta. I didn't feel definite kicks until almost 20 weeks. And now this baby is rockin' and Rollin'. Lol! It all depends on how active baby is.

I know when he kicks a spot where the placenta is, I'll see it more than feel it, but I feel a LOT of movements when lying on my side, and now that i'm getting bigger, I see my belly move constantly when I'm sitting on the couch, but it's definitely less than with my daughter

I started feeling movements from 21weeks and week by week they just feel stronger and stronger. Sometimes even when I cant feel her on the outside i rest my arm over my belly and can feel really strong movements then. :)

i feel the movement a lot, but if you look at my belly then WOW its probably a god send that i dont feel the full effect.

im sure hes trying to push his way out!!

im nearly 36 weeks x

I've had 3 anterior placentas. With my first I didn't feel all that much, during my entire pregnancy. With my 2nd I felt movements a lot stronger than with the first, and she'd actually make my tummy jump out. This time around I've felt movements, but no real kicks. I can feel her turn and move around, like rolls rather than kicks. Placenta is low down this time, any movement I do feel is at the top not bottom.
