DH and I were talking about what a manic 12 months we've had and how much had happened to us and our families. We were reminded because Friday is my grandparents wedding anniversary. Last year we had a big family party but sadly lost my Gramps a few weeks later.

Here's our highs and lows...

Lows
1. Losing my Gramps
2. DH's Mum being seriously ill and nearly losing her
3. DH's Dad being ill and in hospital
4. Finding out that we would never conceive naturally and that we needed IVF.
5. Finding out that my brother and his wife were expecting their first child so soon after discovering that we couldn't have children.
6. All the difficulties that 5 caused my family particularly my parents.

Highs
1. Finding out that I was pregnant
2. Finding out that we were expecting twins
3. Getting married
4. Having such an easy pregnancy and the joy of every little kick and wriggle
5. The birth of my nephew, James.
6. My grandparents Diamond Wedding Anniversary

We reckoned that if we survived all that and are still smiling, that the next 12 months can't be too hard! :baby: :baby:

"that the next 12 months can't be too hard!"

Not too hard Helen

What a lovely end to your 12 month count though huh? I'm excited for you.

:hugs:
