I just got my HCG levels back. 32,000. Is there ANY WAY that in a pregnancy that ended at 5.5 weeks and I am now 8.5 weeks... I could still have an HCG level that high?

I don't think so...of course I wouldn't know one way or the other, but I really think your baby is doing fine and thriving!!!

lemondrops, it looks like things may not be as the doc thought. Get another ultrasound, they may just find the missing baby alive and well. You never know.

I'd get another ultrasound done. But to answer your question, we can't really tell the health of the pregnancy with only one hcg level and when its this high then they go by the ultrasound results. I recommend waiting a week and getting another ultrasound if at all possible.

Your HCG enough should be enough for your incompetent Dr to order another ultrasound. Ugh, I hate it when professionals are stupid! Your HCG levels sound great for being that far along, I don't think they would be that high at 5 weeks unless you had multiples!
