Leftover formula - another question sorry!!!

Maybe one day I will be able to offer advice instead of always asking for it!!!

Anyway, when out and about we are using cartons of formula as it's so much easier, I get that extra formula can be put in another bottle and stored in a cool bag until we get home and put it in the fridge. This might sound stupid but if we are at someone house, I can put the bottle in their fridge then put it in an insulated bottle bag for the drive home can't I, instead of bothering with a cool bag?? (drive home no more than 40mins at most) I know this might be a really stupid questionbut my brain is mush today!

Yep just keep it cool Don't mix it with freshly opened also.
