light tests and around 18dpo...

OK so here is the wee back story here,

Tested at 9dpo; bfn. I thought that since all my other pregnancies were picked up by then that i was out... Roll on 13dpo when for the first time in ages I had a migraine. I tested on an asda test and I got a bfp!

The day after (14dpo) I took a digi which said 1-2... 16dpo and still 1-2. Now I am 18 dpo and to me for nearing 5 weeks they just seen so light.

Any positive stories of light tests turning out ok? Forgot to mention I had a little spotting 16-17dpo

Sadly for me no. I had two chemicals (one in April and one in July of this year). Tests never got darker they were always very faint positives. The first one I lost at 4 weeks 2 days and the other one at 5 weeks 3 days. My HCG never got high either. the one in April at 13 DPO 6 HCG. The second one, 13 DPO was 20, 15 DPO 28.

I do hope the best though for you and hope it all works out for you.

Also using two different brands can result in different answers. I do know IC's tend to not get darker until a few weeks later. I would maybe try a FRER and see how that goes and/or stick with the same brand.
