i have a faint line, but have also noticed tummy hair darken

ive had even when i wasnt pregnant, i thought it was a normal thing. it does bother me as its so obvious and you can see it clearly.

It's usually people with dark or darkish hair and brown eyes that get linea nigra. Blondes/Redheads with light skin and green/blue eyes do not get it that often.Unfortunately for blondes/redheads,we are more prone to stretchmarks!!!!Whaaa! I would rather get a linea nigra than a stretchmark! Oh well,I just have to accept the inevitable. They will be my battle scars.He-he!

That's why I am so excited Karen, I am very fair, and blondish. So I didn't think I would get it, but my mother said she had one, and it got fairly dark.

Do you have quite dark skin? Like I said in a previous post, I've always had it too and I figured maybe it had something to do with skin colour. When I was a kid I remember pulling my top up in a car park and saying "whats that for mummy", pointing to it and she seemed rather embarrassed.
