Smartie, did you get the clothes in size newborn only? I'm so confused about that. Have plenty of stuff bought and gifted for 0-3 months, and hardly any in newborn.

As for other stuff, we still need
- breast pump (Medela Swing, I think)
- thermometer (need to ask doctor if I need a fancy ear one)
- maybe a room thermometer and humidifier
- diapers
- something for diy rack we are making for her room

Nothing is washed or organized yet, the furniture is coming - lots to do

I've a mixture of tiny baby and newborn vests, clothing is newborn and upto 1 month. 0-3 has a bit of a difference in size fits more to "first size" in UK which is upto 10lbs I think?

I am a FTM and feel like I could go way overboard buying everything under the sun for this baby, and then end up barely using any of it. My plan of action is to have the essentials for when the baby is born (infant car seat, clothes, diapers, etc) and then just buy things as I feel like I need them so I don't end up with a house full of stuff I don't use and an empty bank account. Is this naive of me???
