This is what I thaught.... To stimulate the release of oxytocin, you must mimic the suckling of a baby. When a baby suckles, he does not grab just the nipple, but actually massages the areola (dark circle around the nipple)..... Ahh me thinks it's google time to see if I can use the pump maybe....

i wouldnt tbh hun, apparently it could actually knock you into pre-term labour as in, luke might not be 100% ready yet and might still come out.
I think pumping might be a little too strong, try just usin ur hand if you want but remember even though ur technically full term lukey doesnt know about dates...he will come out when hes ready.
A little jiggy jiggy might help him on his way but i reckon actually pumping could force him out iykwim?
Also could make you have a longer and more painful labour which noone wants
Plus pumping when youv not got much to pump iv found gets pretty sore

Thaught I'd update this... Grr saw consultant and he told mw not to bother giving me a sweep. Which means i'm still completely clueless as to wether anything is going on... No idea wether I've dilated at all not even been told wether he is engaged or not I'm as clueless as I was before appointment... So angry! Was told I'd be getting a sweep today and now the consultant said there's don't bother?!? Like it's that much effort! Induction booked for may 6 th if nothing by then x

Don't know! Basicaly I was seeing this one dr and then my proper named consultant came in and went to her, yeah book her for induction, the other thing we could do is give her a sweep but you shouldn't bother! I was just like WTF?! Man it's not fair!
