Yet another referral form to sign today and I forgot that rule of always taking a tissue with you to school meetings....we've got a new puppy so sleep isn't happening so much at the moment.
They'd given us a little space to talk and add comments and I just made some jokey comment about being an idiot to forget tissues and my choice was to wipe my face on husband's sleeve or use a (clean) dog poo bag!

Support lady tiptoes towards us, places boxes of tissues on table, tiptoes back.
The stories and familes these people have seen, and it's the lovely touches like that that make it all human!

Had a similar experience recently where I ended up in tears at the doctors and nurse emptied a side room, got some tissues. It made a difference.
