LO sleeping lots during growth spurt?

Amelie has slept basically all day. She had her morning feed at 9.30 and was asleep by 10, had another feed at 11.30 and has been asleep since. Yday was the same. I'm not complaining of course but she isn't usually sleeping this much. Do they sleep more during a growth spurt to conserve energy?

when jacob used to have growth spurts all he did was eat and sleep now he is older when he has one he eats and whinges no longer sleeps! XXX

During growth spurts Byron eats all the time but sleeps less well.

My lo has days like that, sometimes it seems like he sleeps 90% of the day, other days he is awake longer. It doesn't seem t have a pattern but growth spurts often mean they sleep longer x

yup, its normal... I think most babies go through super sleepy times and then not sleeping at all lol.

Renah drives me NUTS during growth spurts..one day she'll sleep the WHOLE day, the next shes up screaming the WHOLE day! you're lucky she's sleeping!
