Hey ladies,
I was diagnosed with PCOS back in November after having irregular cycles since my periods started as a teenager!
3yrs ago I had a transvaginal scan and nothing showed up, then this year, low and behold, PCOS!
My longest cycle was 60days so when I went over that this month I went to the docs, she agreed to start referrals to FS even though we had only been TTC 7months (took us 9nonths with #1) but she wouldn't give me anything to start my period.
We had been DTD EOD since AF had left but by the start of December we had slowed down to more like every 3/4days, sometimes more. My chart still wasn't showing any sign of ov, so I decided to stop temping and test every Saturday. BFN, BFN, BFN. Then Monday 23rd I text DH and told him I felt pregnant, I just felt different and like I should take the precautions you do when pregnant.
Christmas Eve I woke up and tested, DH had left for work already. And I 'thought' I saw something, quickly washed my hair and checked again, well it was definitely there! I got my BFP on CD72!! Yes ladies 72! I held my pee for 3hrs and tested again, another very faint line so I dipped a sainsburys own brand digi and *pregnant*
Although I'm not 100% I think I'm 4/5wks along and will have my booking appointment next Friday and hopefully get my scan date then. Since I have had lovely progression and 1-2 on a CB digi.
I just wanted to tell my story and let all you ladies who have lost hope just like I did, PCOS and stupid long cycles that it can happen without meds! Perfect timing is all that's needed, along with the egg and sperm of cours!
