I'm a huge fan of the website "My Beautiful Cervix".
I find it one of those websites which is insanely helpful in creating visual understanding of the changes in a womans body.

At the same time, I notice something....

Apparently.... if a woman has not had children before, her OS (Cervical Opening) SHOULD be small and round, whilst a woman who has had children, her OS should be shaped more like a slit.
Fair enough, apparently it becomes a slit like shape from being stretched during the act of childbirth...
Rightio.

So lately, I've been deciding to take a look at my own cervix. I am 30 years old and have never had kids, have been TTC my first for 2 years.
My OS is a slit, and not just a normal slit, a U shape, and sometimes even a soft w shape. I'm wondering if maybe this somehow relates to my inability to conceive. That its somehow not letting the tadpoles into the river to do their job??

Ok this might be tmi but how did you even get a look at your cervix? The doc has to use those spreader thingys. I have felt mine and I swear it does feel more like a slit then round but I figured my sense of touch could be deceiving. Besides if yours even was a slit it shouldn't matter because women who've had babies already can get preggo again. Also, I've had IUI's and they don't seem to help so I don't think that's the problem.
